Movie 2012 was it worth such a hype? my review

Was Movie 2012 is about a disaster or Movie itself is a disaster? this was the question that started buzzing in my mind after watching it, after almost a year of media hype and wait to watch this movie i was finally very much disappointed that this movie as nothing meaningful and intellectual to offer in it except Explosion, Tsunami and more Explosions and Good CGI Graphics, thought the special effects was fantastic the movie really lacked the facts and not worth watching if your are expecting something intellectual entertainment from it.

I almost slept for 20mins in between the movie... really this movie is for people who like graphics and no meaning in it, and i thought driving a limo straight out of collapsing building would happen only in Indian movies but i was wrong Roland Emmerich proved it could happen in Hollywood movies too, and also i was surprised to see how a single engine aircraft pilot all of a sudden could fly a heavy load cargo craft in midst of falling skyscrapers avoiding it and straight to the skies on such a short runway... and how the hero runs to the van for map and make it to the aircraft after the van falls in the crack.

And if you are looking for a entertainment with some meaning and facts in it i will not recommend it.

Micah and Katie of "paranormal actvity" are they dead?

recently one of my friend gave me a video "paranormal activity" and said this is a true real ghost video and recorded by real people and they are now dead and at that moment as i am a skeptic in believing these kinda things i said to myself let me see the video tonight and then decide and i did not even googled the video name as i don't want to miss the thrill.

I came from office early today because we had planned dinner outside as today is my sister birthday enjoyed much, came back home and could not resist to plug my pen drive in and watch the video,i plugged in and started watching the video.

There was no titles and crazy music, opening was a thank note for some sheriff department for providing the footage, as i watched the video it was almost like a real documentary for first instance, Micah and Katie did their job well but i sensed it was fake as the video progressed and i confirmed it was fake when i saw the scene of Ouija board moving itself and catching fire for a fraction of second.

Now i pretty much came to conclusion its a fake and decided to Google but when i start searching for names Micah and Katie and video "paranormal activity" i was surprised to see that they are so many people still in the confusion whether it was real or fake and i was very much surprised to see people are debating some saying its real and some fake

when i saw this movie i remembered the movie called "blair witch project" which was more or less similar and people still think actors in blair witch project are missing

kannada song banna nanna olavina banna is a plagiarized version ?

Did you know famous Kannada song "banna nanna olavina banna" from movie bandhana was actually dubbed and plagiarized version of "for a few dollars more" which was a Spanish intro theme ? almost 80% of indian movies songs are plagiarized but not even 1% other way round ? some times i doubt don't we Indians have some thing make that west could copy? any way hats of to the living legend and awesome music director Ennio Morricone for his brilliant tracks see the below clip this will remember you of the old Kannada song

though more than any south indian songs hindi songs are more plagiarised most of the songs now a days are remix of english though oldies are not exceptional any way do leave few lines what do you think? or else if you feel it is not palgarised and i did not judged well do let me know

Jodha Akbar Movie Music and Lyrics review

Ashutosh Gowariker, the director of the Academy Award-nominated Lagaan (2001). It stars Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles.
The film centers around the romance between the Muslim Mughal Emperor Akbar, played by Hrithik Roshan and his Hindu wife, Jodhabai, played by Aishwarya Rai. The music is composed by acclaimed music composer A. R. Rahman. The soundtrack of the movie was released on January 19, 2008.
Jodhaa Akbar is a sixteenth century love story about a marriage of alliance that gave birth to true love between a great Mughal emperor, Akbar, and a Rajput princess, Jodhaa.

Political success knew no bounds for Emperor Akbar (Hrithik Roshan). After having secured the Hindu Kush, he furthered his realm by conquest until his empire extended from Afghanistan to the Bay of Bengal, and from the Himalayas to the Godavari River. Through a shrewd blend of diplomacy, intimidation and brute force , Akbar won the allegiance of the Rajputs. But little did Akbar know that when he married Jodhaa (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan), a fiery Rajput princess, in order to further strengthen his relations with the Rajputs, he would in turn be embarking upon a new journey – the journey of true love.

The daughter of King Bharmal of Amer, Jodhaa resented being reduced to a mere political pawn in this marriage of alliance, and Akbar’s biggest challenge now did not merely lie in winning battles, but in winning the love of Jodhaa – a love hidden deep below resentment and extreme prejudice. Jodhaa-Akbar is their untold love story.

Music Review

The wait comes to an end. The music of the most awaited release of the year ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai is out with splendor and perfection. Director Ashutosh and music director A.R. Rahman have had excellent partnership and produced hit music earlier. And with Jodhaa Akbar, the duo has delivered exceptional scores to resonate in your ears for years to come.

Composed by music maestro A.R.Rahman, Jodhaa Akbar’s music is magical, spectacular, bracing, pleasant and different from the tunes and beats of the contemporary style of music. The tracks are rustic, earthy and definitely pulsating.

The first track Azeem-O-Shaan Shahenshah starts off with roaring horns and booming drums as we are introduced to our emperor Akbar, his power and stature. With the incredible crisp arrangements of 12 different kinds of percussion instruments in the song, A.R has composed a masterpiece and the effect of the song is just wild. The singers Mohammad Aslam, Bony Chakravarty voice’s are just perfect for this score. A.R. Rahman is quiet simply at his best with this song.

The heart-warming romantic track Jashn-e-bahaara is enticing, making you hit the repeat button several times. The slow but richly soothing melodious tunes of string variants and tabla just flows smoothly into your ears as if to ease your soul. Javed Ali’s tone of voice blends rightly with the tunes creating a most joyous effect on the ear! Pure unadulterated music - a winner!

Khawaja Mere Khawja is a fabulous qawaali based song sung by the maestro himself. The tunes of harmonium is interwoven with that of the strings producing a sweet harmonic resonance and this coupled with the subdued voice of A.R. Rahman is enthralling.

From praises for the emperor you are taken to the world of two lovers with In Lamhon Ke Daaman Mein. Once again with the soothing tunes of strings interwoven with the beating of drums, the song is dipped in passion and is just breathtaking. Sonu Nigam renders another emotional track with Madhushree providing supporting vocals. The tunes, the voice and the chorus vary in energy with the proceedings and the final outcome is a stunning melody by A.R. This is the best romantic track that proudly tops the charts of JA.

The final track Man Mohana sung by Bela Shende is yet another soft track with tunes like that of a bhajan. It’s is a situational track that might not be pleasing to all but even in this the blending of various instruments is just mind-blowing.

The instrumentals are unique in its form. While Jashn-e-Bahaaraa (Instrumental) concentrates on the flute, Khwaja Mere Khwaja (Instrumental) highlights the oboe. A.R. Rahman is a master indeed.

And how can one forget the lyricist Javed Aktar. The lyrics are very reflective, melodic and catchy. Just the right ingredient to ensure the music is a classic.
