Petrol Price Around the world ? are we paying more?

Have you ever guessed what is the price of gas around the globe ? i got the below information in my forward found interesting thought of sharing it here, i guess the petrol price is always less than the tax levied on it i found this information through R&D consider if the price of the petrol comes around 20rs after refinement, transportation, and all kind of other expenses then the tax levied on it would come around 2.5 times the original price this is because tax is levied two times one at central and other at state that's why in India price of petroleum products differ by state to state which is too bad.

though there are loads of alternative energy and fuel sources such as bio fuel etc government of the world is not taking much interest in it because 50% of the income to the government treasure is from tax levied on petroleum products what ever it is see the below chart
