One of the very important feature missing in the gtalk is invisible mode though many company allows gtalk rather than yahoo Msgr gtalk lacks the important feature to login in the invisible mode escaping from annoying friends though we can block them blocking and unblocking wanted and unwanted persons is a very daunting task and work around which many do want to.....
did you know we can trick unwanted friends by showing the our status on gtalk as idle ? you can see gtalk will automatically sets the status as idle if we are not using the system for 10 mins so orange dot in front of any gtalk id is that there are not on the desk so to escape from unwanted friends we can force gtalk to set this status whenever we are busy chatting with other friends or if there is important work to do
gAlwaysIdle is a an application which does this favor for you this small app gets integrated with gtalk and we can set the idle by clicking always idle as shown in the menu see the below PIC
