Why do i Hate Symbian Programming? this is the question i ask myself many times!!! when i started learning symbian on my own i though of becoming expert in this language as i was only person to start symbian in my company now its 
already 15 days into symbian still i don't have a hold on the language at least to write a small program to display list and print the selected menu item as the label....... though i had learn't BREW before but symbian really sucks in terms of learning as a beginner below are the reasons why symbian sucks it is purely my experience though:-

2.Too Painful.
3.To write a simple A+B program you need to know a lot of API's before hand else you are doomed and it is very difficult for the beginners point of view.
4.Documentation is very very Poor and very difficult to followed by beginners.
5.And API's are Not Standard Changes Drastically from version to version and very hard to track.
these are the above things i have observed as the beginners i am getting confused whether to stay in this domain or else change to BREW as of now i am the only person who know and started symbian in my company...... guys do comment your views and help me proceed in right direction anyway i think symbian will get dissolved soon because of its complexity and obsolete technology base

So, any progress now in Symbian programming? :-)
Thankfully i was put in Windows Mobile project afterwards and now i am working on android!!!! which is far better and interesting compared to SYMBIAN
