increase mozilla firefox cache size

how to increase the size of the Mozilla firefox cache? some times it is necessary you may want to cache more data and speed up the browsing or you may want to extract music or videos cached so at this kind a scenario you can easily increase your cache size to store large video files more than 200 or 500 mb with few simple steps below


-->tools-->Option-->Advanced

-->Advanced-->Network

and increase the size of the cache as show in below pic intially the size is default 50mb i increased it to 1000mb/1gb


you can also check the size of the cache and contents of the firefox cache by typing about:Cache in the address bar and you can get the information as shown in the below picture

I did this yet the pictures on the pages still load slowly. If they are on my HD should they not load a little faster?
