find lost friends on Orkut

i found lost buddy on orkut !!! there are lot of theories how orkut was started? one such theory is orkut founder Orkut Buyukkokten had a crush in school when he was a kid.That gal was in his class. Later when they moved to high school,he lost her.This separation only made Orkut Buyukkokten crazy & he started searching for her. He started Orkut just with the hope that he'll find his 10yrs old crush someday. A very close friend of his was the 2nd person to join in...& the chain grew longer & longer as we see Orkut today though i doubt how much the story is true!!

But in my case believe it or not i found one of my old buddy after 20 years do you believe it? yes it is true you have to believe it... the story goes like this when i was in second standard i used to have a friend we were sitting in the same bench/desk so we were five friends who used to share the same desk and after a the end of the 2nd standard on of my buddies father got transferred to another city so he has to leave the school and only thing i remembered is his name and face partially the time passed by but i remembered his name and partially his face... though i signed up orkut in 2005 was visiting it rarely...

one day while chatting with my other buddies one of my other friend talked about old school friends he said do you remember the guy "XXXXXXXXX" (did not specified name for some reason) who was in 2nd standard i said yes i do remember and one thing came to my mind is his name which was a bit unique so thought to search on google because he is of our age i thought he will surely be on the orkut so i switched on my system and login to the orkut searched the name i got the hit of 5 peoples with same name and more or less same age group!!! i scraped all of them saying the name of the school and asked them if they were studied there? all replied saying no except one...

Alas i found our old buddy who left the school during the year 1987 and the year now was 2007 april wow!!! orkut helped me in finding my old friend and the co-incidence was his father was again transfered to bangalore in 2006 and we were living in the same street but did not see each other or recognized :) and after that i called him up and i met him up with my other friends and we shared all our school days times and photos.
