convert Google video to mpeg or vcd, recently i downloaded Giant Robot(johnny sokko and his flying robot) from google video when i tried to play i was not able to play on windows media player then i changed the extension from mp4 to avi in command prompt as shown below
run-->start-->cmd
C:\>ren johnnysokko.mp4 johnny.avi
thats it when i opened the renamed file with windows media player it worked fine i dont know whether it works with all the video on goolgevideo but this worked absolutely fine and then i used a tool called winavi converter to convert avi file to mpeg so that i can burn it to vcd as show in below pic.
with WinAvi Video Convertor you can convert avi to wmv,vob to wmv,mpeg to wmv vicevera and you can convert AVI to VCD, AVI to DVD and AVI to MPEG guys though this tool is paid downloading from esnips is very useful you know what i mean ;) guys do comment if there is any free ware that does offers same functionality for free
