free midi cutter : midi ringtones cutter

Midi Ring tone cutter? how to cut midi ringtones? cut midi files?
few days back i downloaded the good the bad the ugly ringtone and the beginning few seconds of the ringtone i did not liked so thought of chopping few seconds but when i searched the net for appropriate tool i did not find one... after searching for a while i found this simple and easy too use tool but the only draw back is it is command line tool but any one can use below are the steps how to use the tool

1. start-->run

2.type 'cmd ' and press enter

3.then in command line give below command

midicut -from 17 -till 62 out.mid testcut.mid

• 17 is the start time from where you have to start cutting

• 62 is the time till where the song you require

• out.mid is your original midi file name

• testcut.mid is the name of the file which you have cutted according to your needs

• you can get the time by running the midi file in windows medial player and note down the time to cut

Note:the midi file you want to cut and the exe should be in the same directory
